Company Let Employees Bring Their Office Computer to Work from Home
A company let their employees bring computer unit from their office to work from home amid community quarantine due to COVID-19 threat.
Many workers fear for their health because some are still required to attend duty to their offices amid community quarantine that is now being implemented throughout Luzon.
Recently, outside region residents were barred from entering the National Capital Region, except for employees and other important sectors. But the community quarantine covers the whole of Central Luzon.
In order to keep up with the social distance recommended for the COVID-19 prevention in the Philippines, the government has also suggested that private companies should adjust the work schedule and allow employees to use their leave.
Recently, a netizen on Facebook named Vilicent Sangilan shared a post where he lauded his company for letting them bring their computer unit from their office to their home. Vincent thanked to his company for allowing them to work from home.
“Okay, pumayag na yung company namin na mag-work from home kaming lahat. Ang best pa doon, pinauwi na rin sa amin pati mga unit namin,” he wrote in his post that there are currently 5.7k reactions and 12k shares already. “Dahil work from home na, sana lang hindi ako ma-late ng gising.”
He also shared that their company had already answered the transportation fare to his home. Many have also wish that their employers would also allow them to do so, thereby reducing the risk of COVID-19.
