Six People Caught In Gingoog City For Many Charges
GINGOOG CITY – Six people who were wanted for various cases were arrested in a Simultaneous Aggressive Police Operation in Gingoog City.
According to SunStar, the suspects were caught on the 28th day of January, 2020 (Tuesday).
Police caught these suspects in a joint manhunt operation, 5 of which are residents from the said city, while one is a resident of Claveria town, Misamis Oriental.
These were identified as Eric Sagrado, aged 18 years; Rico Talja, aged 31 years ; Florentino Badilla, aged 69 years; Ryan Cafe, aged 36 years; Jordan Belarma; and Rofel Estallo, aged 41 years.
Sagrado was charged for illegal possession of firearms, ammunition or Republic Act No. 10591; and concealment of a deadly weapon. Talija, on the other hand, was charged with theft, while Cafe was charged with serious physical injury.
Belarma will face carnapping and robbery charges, whileEstallo was charged with violation of RA No. 9262 whhich defines violence against women and children. Lastly, Badilla was charged for rape.
As per the report, the said suspects may post bail except for Badilla, who was banned by the court.
All the suspects were arrested on the same day by virtue of arrest warants issued by several courts. Police said that one of te suspects was listed as No. 7 in most wanted persons in Camiguin. They are now under police custody and will son be tried in court.
