Gerald Anderson gave a Christmas gift to his “special someone”
Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson revealed that he gave a gift to his “special someone” last holiday season.
It can be recalled that the actor’s relationship with Kapamilya star Bea Alonzo ended last year. The breakup became controversial as Gerald was accused of ghosting his former girlfriend. He was also linked to his Between Maybes leading lady Julia Barretto.
However, the actor denied the ghosting allegations against him as well as his rumored relationship with his movie co-star. Behind the controversies, the actor is bouncing back from that dreaded chapter of his 2019.
His latest TV series, A Soldier’s Hearts, will premiere on January 20. It is an action drama series that will also feature Elmo Magalona, Nash Aguas, Jerome Ponce, and Yves Flores. During the recent press conference for the said upcoming teleserye, Gerald shared that their training was really challenging and he was able to learn a lot from it, based on the article from Bandera.
“That teaches you a lot – patience, gratitude, appreciation for even the small stuff. Being a Philippine Scout Ranger is being a real superhero. That’s why mas na-appreciate ko ngayon ang lahat ng sakripisyo ng mga sundalo natin. Kaya para sa ating lahat, kapag nakakita tayo ng sundalo, lapitan natin sila, mag-thank you tayo kasi mas mai-inspire sila kapag alam nilang suportado natin sila,” the actor shared.
Meanwhile, based on the article, he was also asked about the status of his heart. This was his answer to the question if he already has his “special someone” who received a Christmas gift from him: “Ha-hahaha! Saan naman nanggaling ‘yung tanong na ‘yan. Ha-hahaha! Oo, meron akong niregaluhang babae na espesyal sa akin, ‘yung nanay ko. Nanay ko ang special someone ko.”
Last holiday season, Gerald Anderson shared a post on his Instagram account as a sort of tribute to her mother. However, some netizens criticized it because of his breakup controversy.
