Here’s the reaction of Gerald Anderson to the Golden Globe acceptance speech of Tom Hanks
Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson shared his reaction to the emotional Golden Globe acceptance speech of award-winning Hollywood actor Tom Hanks.
Tom received the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the recently-concluded Golden Globe Awards for his outstanding contribution to the world of entertainment. His emotional speech also called the attention of Gerald.
The Kapamilya actor shared a video clip of the said speech on his Instagram story. In the short video, the Hollywood actor mentioned his appreciation for his family. “A man is blessed with a family sitting down in front like that,” Gerald featured this part of Tom’s speech.
After that, the Hollywood actor also said this during his speech: “A wife who is fantastic in every way, who has taught me what love is. Five kids who are braver and stronger and wiser than their old man is. And a loving group of people who have put [up] with me being away months and months and months at a time.”
Gerald Anderson also wrote, “Oh no (crying emoji)” on his IG post. Apparently, that emotional speech of Tom Hanks, who was fighting a cold that night, touched the Kapamilya actor.
Meanwhile, Gerald is bouncing back this 2020 after a tough 2019. He admitted that last year was indeed a tough year for him because of controversies. In his previous post, he promised to shrug off all the negativity of the past year.
However, the actor still received bashing because of the past issue, just like what netizens said to him when he shared a photo with her mother.
