Recently, two (2) of the brightest stars under the Kapamilya network appeared as guests to the ABS-CBN’s Sunday talk show GGV – Bea Alonzo and Angelica Panganiban. They recently worked together in an upcoming movie.
Bea and Angelica, together with Richard Gutierrez, top-bill the movie Unbreakable. It features a story of friendship that was tested by several circumstances. It is directed by Marie Cruz Alviar.
During their guesting at GGV, Vice Ganda expressed his admiration for Angelica Panganiban and Bea Alonzo for being brave and open about their pain. Their heartbreaks were not a secret to the public.
According to Angelica, what is happening to them may also serve as an inspiration to non-celebrities as it shows that even celebrities get through pains. For her part, here’s what Bea said based on a video posted on YouTube:
“Isa ako sa mga tao na hindi ko sinasabi lagi ang nararamdaman ko but when you free yourself of that void, kahit na papaano mayroon kang natutulungan, kahit papano mayroon palang tutulong din sa’yo.”
According to Bea, knowing that you are not alone as you through something really helps a lot. Vice Ganda stressed that both Bea and Angelica were not afraid to admit that they failed.
“Tsaka na-realize ko dapat sila yung mahiya, hindi kami,” Bea said.
The statement of Bea Alonzo sparked reactions at the studio based on the video. Vice and Angelica teased her that she forgot that many people are listening. There are speculations that she is referring to her ex-boyfriend, Gerald Anderson.
It was just a few months ago when Gerald confirmed his breakup with Bea. The name of Julia Barretto was dragged in the issue as the alleged third party in the breakup. Both the Between Maybes stars denied the accusations.
Meanwhile, currently, it is visible that Bea, Gerald, and Julia have moved on from the controversy. They are busy with their respective careers and, for her part, Bea has an upcoming movie and another project with Richard Gutierrez – a TV series.
