Gerald earned negative criticisms amid cheating allegations. The name of Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto was even dragged on the issue. She was accused as the third party in the breakup of the celebrity ex-couple.
Julia and Gerald worked together in the film Between Maybes. Both celebrities denied the allegations that they had a relationship. They earned criticisms from other people and support from others.

Recently, Gerald Anderson broke his silence on the speculations. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Kapamilya actor denied that he and Julia Barretto have a love bracelet.
With regards to the controversies he got involved in this year, Gerald reminded that it is important not to forget who you really are amid everything. He also shared how he took other people’s opinions.
“At the end of the day, huwag mong kalimutan yung sarili mo kung sino ka talaga, your core. The opinions of others [don’t] define you,” the former PBB housemate said based on the report.
Currently, the Kapamilya actor is not into his love life as he is focusing on his showbiz career. He is also pushing forward his advocacies.
