Several stars from the Kapamilya network already aired their views about the said issue. Some even asked President Rodrigo Duterte to reconsider his decision. It can be recalled that he expressed that he is not in favor of the renewal of the franchise.

Just recently, reports came out that the Office of the Solicitor General is set to ask the Supreme Court to revoke the franchise of ABS-CBN. Allegedly, the network has committed a violation. However, the OSG did not elaborate on the details of the alleged violation.

One of the Kapamilya celebrities who shared views about the franchise issue is Bela and JC. When asked to react on the franchise issue, the actress answered this through a joke. “Shucks, oo nga, mawawalan na pala akong trabaho,” the actress said with a jest.

However, Bela said that the management of the Kapamilya network has not said anything to them yet. “Wala po. Wala po. Ayaw ko siyang isipin na mawawalan na pala ako ng trabaho,” she added.

JC also said that he is hoping that everything would turn out well, based on the article. “Sana naman humaba pa. Sana both sides magkakapatawaran… hindi ko alam, e,” he said.

Meanwhile, the upcoming movie of Bela Padilla and JC Santos is set to hit the cinemas on February 5. The 2 stars also worked together in the romantic film 100 Tula Para Kay Stella back in 2017.
