Taal’s eruption displaced numerous residents in Batangas, Tagaytay, and Cavite after it belched ashes and small stones. The calamity also caused swarms of earthquakes that cause fear and panic among residents.
Several areas have already declared class and work suspensions in different areas to ensure the safety of students and employees. The state seismology agency is also expecting an imminent eruption within days.
