List of 180 Quezon City Firecracker Zones for New Year
QUEZON CITY FIRECRACKER ZONES – Here is a full list of the 180 places designated as cracker zones in Quezon City for the New Year celebration.
The national and the local governments, together with the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Department of Health (DOH), and other authorities, push for a safe New Year celebration. It is because firecrackers and fireworks have always been a part of the celebration.
Every year, a lot of people are left injured after the New Year celebration. Many lost a part of their bodies due to firecrackers and fireworks that were illegal and not properly handled.
The government encourages the public to participate in the fireworks display organized by their local governments. It is in line with the pursuit for a safer New Year celebration for everyone.
Aside from encouraging the public to participate in the fireworks display organized by the local government, some city governments have also specified cracker zones. One of them is the Quezon City government.
Based on a report on Manila Bulletin, there are 180 Quezon City firecracker zones assigned by the authorities. Here is a list of the places designated as cracker zones:
