Barretto Sister
The celebrity sisters, Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine Barretto indeed are showbiz shockers this 2019. From their longstanding feud, a new issue arose when Greta arrived at the wake of their patriarch Miguel Barretto. even President Rodrigo Duterte, along with his companions, witnessed the reported physical confrontation.
Because of the said incident, other members of the Barretto clan got involved, including Nicole Barretto and the daughters of Marjorie, Julia and Dani Barretto. Greta’s business partner Atong Ang was dragged as he was also there when the incident happened. Marjorie tagged him as the “powerful boyfriend” of Greta.
Teachers versus Raffy Tulfo and Alfred Vargas
Alfred, an actor and congressman, received criticisms from teachers when he proposed a bill on the no-assignment policy every weekend. Stated in his proposed bill, teachers should pay a fine of P50,000 if they will not follow this, aside from the possibility of imprisonment for two years.
Raffy, a journalist and host of Raffy Tulfo In Action, lambasted by teachers for recommending the suspension of a teacher who was accused of maltreating her student. However, netizens cried out in favor of the teacher as she was misjudged on air. Later on, the journalist retracted what he said against the teacher.
Kris Aquino
The Queen of all Media filed cases against her former business partner and financial manager Nicko Falcis. However, her bravery when she filed several cases, including those against Nicko’s brother Atty. Jesus Falcis, fainted as days went by, based on the article from Bandera.
At first, Kris showed a determined face in getting justice for the “injustice” that she allegedly received from Nicko and his brother. However, the Falcis brothers were not faint-hearted when it comes to their rights also. Later on, both camps manage to have a settlement.
Eddie Garcia
Many showbiz fans were shocked when the death of the legendary star was reported. Much shocking information came after that – he tripped on a cable wire while running for a scene in now-shelved GMA series and that there were no medical personnel on standby during that incident. Just recently, the Department of Labor and Employment demanded GMA to pay a fine of P890,000 including other companies who were involved in the said unfortunate event.

The Kapamilya actress started the controversy by sharing a series of cryptic posts on her Instagram account:

Then, netizens started to speculate that the posts of Bea were intended to her then-boyfriend Gerald Anderson who was linked to his Between Maybes leading lady Julia Barretto.
Vice Ganda and Ion Perez
This year, Vice confirmed his relationship with Ion but they already celebrated their first anniversary. The comedian host shared that it took that long before they admitted the real score between them is because he was protecting the family of his boyfriend.
