Coco Martin Reach Out To Mindanao Quake Victims

COCO MARTIN – ABS-CBN actor Coco Martin made a surprise visit to fans who are affected in last month’s earthquake.

“The King of Independent Films” Coco Martin is the lead actor and director of the longest-running tv show in the Philippines, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. In a previous article, he revealed that he was the one who thought of the idea of remaking Fernando Poe Jr’s action movie.

The 38-year-old actor said he and his team will continue to give it’s Filipino audience an incredible thrill. Previously, he revealed that the show will soon be featuring Hollywood stars.

Aside from bringing entertainment to televiewers, Coco Martin also made some efforts to bring joy to the kids who are diagnosed with cancer. He chose to celebrate his birthday at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center with the cancer patients.

Recently, the prominent actor flew to Makilala, Cotabato to visit the quake victims. Based on a report from ABS-CBN, screaming fans are waiting for him at the evacuation center.

The worries of the quake victims in Cotabato somehow lessen after mingled with the locals in their tents and played with the kids. The people were all smiles when the actor gave them a surprise visit.

According to the report, the locals will spend their Christmas and New Year in their tents. It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda donated hygiene kits to the residents.

In a previous article, Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin went to North Cotabato to provide aid to the quake victims. Photos and videos of her giving relief goods to the locals went viral on social media. Recently, Forbes Asia named her as among the region’s ‘Heroes of Philanthropy.’
