Look-alike of Angel Locsin in Philippine Arnis Team won gold in SEA Games 2019
A member of the Arnis Team of the Philippines who is a look-alike of Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin won gold in SEA Games 2019.
Angel is not just known for her pretty face but also for her beautiful heart. A proof to this was when she was included in the list of Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy 2019. Her fiance film producer Neil Arce is so proud of this.
Apparently, another person also feels happy of being associated with the award-winning actress. Jedah-Mae Soriano, a member of the Philippine Arnis Team, always gets the remark that she is a look-alike of the Kapamilya star and she is happy about that.
“Masaya po na nahihiya,” the athlete from Pasay City said in an interview with ABS-CBN. “Star po kasi si Angel Locsin. Idol ko po siya, pinapanood ko ang mga action movies niya. Nakakataba ng puso na makumpara sa kanya,” she added.
Jedah-Mae also shared that since she was young, people would always compare her to Angel Locsin. According to her, she earned the nickname Angel even at her arnis practice session because of her resemblance to the actress who once played Darna.
“Noong bata pa po kasi ako tinatawag na po nila akong Angel. Iyon na rin po ang tawag sa kin ng kapwa arnisador,” the young athlete said.
Jedah-Mae also feels proud and overwhelmed for being part of the national team and for having the chance to represent the Philippines in the 30th SEA Games. Based on the report, she won featherweight gold in live-stick category.
