Chris Cahilig said that he does not intervene with the personal life of Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co. “So far, wala namang sinasabi sa akin, at wala rin naman akong balak magtanong. I just don’t want to be involved in anything personal. Sa kanila na iyon. Kumbaga, space na niya iyon. I don’t wanna get into that space,” he said.

When asked how he became Bea’s manager, Chris shared that one evening, he was invited to meet with them. He was told that Bea’s former manager, Shirley Kuan resigned a few days before that meeting.

“And they needed somebody to take care of the projects. And a lot of inquiries actually for endorsements. So I have to step in just in case. Again, it’s the couple. So I wouldn’t say no definitely to be of help to them,” he shared.

For now, Chris is the Kapuso star’s interim manager or agent. When asked if it is possible that Bea will get another manager, Chris answered that, right now, they are iin the process and all, and that he just want Bea to have the freedom to choose him or find someone else to manage her.

“Like I don’t wanna be that person who would you know, try to get that position for good. Kasi, ako kasi, actually sa totoo lang, hindi ako naniniwala sa mga kontrata. Hindi ako naniniwala sa mga ganyan. Kumbaga, I’m just there to protect you if there’s a time of conflict,” he explained.

Chris Cahilig also shared that, as of now, there is no written contract between him and Bea Alonzo.
