Marjorie Barretto asks prayers for father.
MARJORIE BARRETTO – Former actress Marjorie Barretto speaks about her father who is currently in hospital who fell ill some time after his birthday celebration.
In a previous article, Optimum Star Claudine Barretto posted a photo of her hand holding her father’s hand who got admitted at St. Luke’s Medical Center. They haven’t mentioned why he got hospitalized but Marjorie Barretto stated in her IG post that their father fell ill just a week after they have celebrated his birthday in her house.
Some netizens have even called out Gretchen Barretto to go to her father who is sick and lower down her pride. This is because of the publicized and long-standing feud of Greta between her parents who disowned her amid her rift with Claudine. However, Gretchen and Claudine just recently got reconciled. And people are waiting for her reconciliation with her other sister.
Marjorie wrote in her post, “My siblings and I rushed him to the nearest hospital, i could say it say it was the scariest time for us all. After that day, its been a series of ambulance transfer, family meetings, non stop praying, and big family gatherings at the ICU waiting area.”
But in their ordeal, they have received so much love and support from the people around for them and most especially for their father. She further added, “I’m just feeling sad today, realizing its been a week, and I guess we are all emotionally and physically tired, but our faith, hope and unity as a family is stronger than ever.”
