Manny Pacquiao Denies Floyd May Weather’s Exhibition Rematch in Tokyo
MANNY PACQUIAO – Legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao slammed Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition fight claims in Tokyo, Japan.
Filipino professional boxer Manny Pacquiao also serves as a senator in the Philippines. He is adored by millions of people because of his generosity and humility.
The 40-year-old boxer was defeated by the American boxer Floyd Mayweather last 2015 in 12 rounds by unanimous decision. Boxing fans around from different countries around the world kept on asking for a rematch.
In a previous article, the Chief executive of Mayweather Promotions said the undefeated boxer has “zero” interest in fighting Manny Pacquiao again. Meanwhile, a former boxer claimed that Floyd would probably say ‘yes’ for a rematch if he’s offered a billion dollars.
Recently, Floyd uploaded a video of himself announcing an exhibition fight with Manny Pacquiao in Tokyo, Japan.
“Betrnk.com, that’s my team in Tokyo, Japan, TMT Tokyo, and of course I’m Floyd Mayweather… what I’m working right now is the Mayweather-Pacquiao exhibition right here in Tokyo. Stay tuned,” said Floyd.
Pacquiao reacted with surprise to Mayweather’s statement. Based on a report from South China Morning Post, the Filipino fighter wants a rematch with Mayweather. But clarified that he doesn’t want it to be an exhibition.
“Why exhibition? Make it a real fight,” said Pacquiao.
According to the report, Pacquiao and his team said the retired boxer’s latest statement was just another nonsense talk. He wondered why Floyd would suggest an exhibition fight in the Japanese capital instead of fighting for a world title in Las Vegas, where they would bag millions of dollars.
