Recently, the judge who handled the case of former Mayor Sanchez broke her silence. Speaking to ABS-CBN News, former Pasig Regional Trial Court Judge Harriett Demetriou claimed she was offered P30-million.

According to the former judge, a sculptor came to see her and told her the gender preference of the then-Mayor. He is allegedly into people of the same gender. The sculptor allegedly stressed that it is impossible for the then-Mayor to commit the accusations against him.

“‘You know Judge, pumunta na lang kayo sa America. Kumuha na lang kayo ng P30-million at saka para wala lahat na ito na kaso,'” the sculptor allegedly told the then-Judge.

Based on the report, the then-Judge who was handling the case against former Mayor Sanchez threw a question to the person who bribed her. It was about having a daughter and bribery.

“So I said: ‘May anak ka ba na babae?’ ‘Meron.’ ‘Eh anong gagawin mo kung ‘yung huwes na naglilitis ng kaso ng anak mo e tatanggap ng suhol?’ she said.

According to the then-Judge over the situation she issued, the person responded that the judge should be put to death. She returned the question to the person asking why the person is telling her to just fly abroad and acquit Sanchez.
