The state weather bureau PAGASA said that the southwest monsoon or locally known as Habagat would bring rains over most parts of the Philippines.

PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon would bring rains over parts of Luzon and Visayas.

The Habagat would bring monsoon rains over Metro Manila and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro, and Palawan.

The southwest monsoon would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions with isolated rainshowers over the Ilocos Region, Visayas, the rest of central Luzon, of MIMAROPA and of CALABARZON.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over the remaining parts of the country.

Meanwhile, another low-pressure area was spotted at 1,320 kilometers east of Mindanao still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The LPA might intensify into a tropical storm and may enter the country’s territory on Friday (June 28, 2019).

The weather agency also warned the public to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
