Erwin Tulfo Currently Abroad & Yet To Surrender His Firearms

The Philippine National Police said that the veteran broadcaster Erwin Tulfo left the Philippines and has not surrendered his firearms yet.

On Thursday (June 13, 2019), PNP spokesman Police Colonel Bernard Banac said that Erwin Tulfo is currently out of the country.

Banac said that the journalist left abroad before the authorities informed him regarding the expiration of his License To Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF).

Tulfo’s LTOPF expired last March 3, 2019, according to the report of the Police authoties.

“Ang pinakahuli nating ulat na natanggap ay nasa abroad si Mr. Erwin Tulfo kaya di pa naaaksyunan ang kaniyang renewal at ‘yung pagsuko ng firearms,”  Banac said.

PNP will also conduct a follow up next week to ask Tulfo when he would turn over his firearms to the authorities.
