On Thursday (June 13, 2019), PNP spokesman Police Colonel Bernard Banac said that Erwin Tulfo is currently out of the country.

Banac said that the journalist left abroad before the authorities informed him regarding the expiration of his License To Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF).

PNP will also conduct a follow up next week to ask Tulfo when he would turn over his firearms to the authorities.
