Here’s GMA network official statement over Eddie Garcia’s critical condition.
GMA NETWORK OFFICIAL STATEMENT – The GMA is set to investigate the absence of medical team during the accident of Eddie Garcia.
Indeed, a lot of people got saddened about the news indicating the accident of the veteran actor Eddie Garcia during shooting of an action scene for his upcoming project under the GMA network.
The action star Philip Salvador has clarified in a clip following the viral actual footage of the veteran actor, where he was recorded tripping over a cable wire that caused his bad fall, that what happened is an accident. It is something that no one expected, intended, and wished to happen. Salvador furthered that Manoy has a strong heart refuting the rumors that he got a heart attack.
Now, Garcia is still in a critical condition according to the medical bulletin from his attending physician. With this, the GMA network released their official statement regarding the matter. In their statement, they have indicated that they are “deeply saddened” to what happened to the actor and that the “management is committed to getting to the bottom of this unfortunate incident.”
With regards to the lack of a medical team on the set, the network is currently investigating about it. They stressed prior that it has always been their practice having a standby medical personnel and ambulance crew in doing action scenes and in all of their programs. Thus, an investigation about the matter that happened last June 8 is under a serious investigation.
