Phoenix Fuel player Abueva got involved in a verbal altercation while on-court with the girlfriend of a player from the opposition and scuffle versus Terrence Jones after he got hit by him in the groin area.

With this, former PBA player Mark Cardona has reacted to the sanctions given to Abueva. He said, “Buti nga si Calvin napapasaya yung PBA eh.

He added that considering that a suspension does not have pay, he feels bad for the player as he has a family to feed. He thinks that the sanction is too hard.

Kasi may pamilya rin yan eh,” Cardona said.

He further added, “Buhay ni Calvin basketball, kung hindi siya makakalaro ng ilang games, without pay yun. Nakakaawa naman. Masyado mabigat ‘yun. ”

The former Talk n’ Text ace wingman said that people should just accept the way Abueva plays. He stated, “Si Calvin, ganun talaga maglaro ‘yun.
