ITCZ To Bring Rains Over Visayas & Mindanao, PAGASA Says
State weather bureau PAGASA announced that the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) would bring rains over the Visayas and Mindanao.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates in the country for Monday (June 3, 2019).
PAGASA said that the ITCZ cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Visayas.
It would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Palawan and Occidental Mindoro.
Zamboanga Peninsula (Region 9) is also expected to experience light rains while Metro Manila and Southern Luzon would have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Isolated rainshowers are also expected over the Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, and Marinduque.
Cloudy conditions with scattered rainsand thunderstorms are expected in Northern Samar.
Meanwhile, the coastal waters over most parts of the country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather agency.
