Bacolod Inasal Festival w/ P2M Budget Garnered Various Reactions Online Due To Barricades Placed During the Event
The social media users reacted to the barricades restricting some residents to join the Bacolod Inasal Festival with a budget of P2 million.
Last Saturday (May 25, 2019), Bacolod City held its second annual Chicken Inasal festival along Araneta Street offering three thousand sticks of grilled chicken.
Thousands of chicken inasal were placed in a 300-meter long boodle fight for about three thousand participants are expected to join the festival.
The second Inasal Festival has been spearheaded by Bacolod City Councilor Cindy Tan-Rojas together with her fellow officials including Bacolod City Lone District Representative Greg Gasataya, Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, Councilors Em L. Ang, Bartolome Orola and Councilor-elect Israel Salanga.
However, several netizens reacted to the barricades placed during the Inasal Festival in Bacolod City which restricted some residents from joining the Chicken Inasal eating.
A Facebook user named Joel Enriquez also questioned the event and the P2 million allocated for the festival.
