CLAUDINE BARRETTO – The drama actress Claudine Barretto answered this malicious question on post about late ex-boyfriend Rico Yan.
In a previous article, the message of the “Optimum Star” Claudine Barretto to her late ex-boyfriend as she remembered her on his birthday has left the people emotional. In her post, she has indicated, “All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake from which I’ll never part. God has you in his arms. I have you in my heart.”
However, despite the good intention behind her post, one netizen has asked her this malicious question about choosing her ex-husband Raymart Santiago over Rico Yan while he was still alive.
Barretto responded, “I was not with my ex-husband. We were not together when Ry was alive. Get your facts straight.”
To recall, Rico died due to hemorrhagic pancreatitis. Claudine and Ryan have become real couple but due to some circumstances, they have broken up. But before he passed away, he promised Claudine to fix their relationship once he returns from a vacation in Palawan. However, his dead body was found in his room in Palawan and was not able to fulfill his promise. And four years after, Claudine married Santiago but got separated in 2013.
This year, the late actor is supposed to be 44 years old already. And on his birthday, he was remembered by the people so close to him and one of whom is Marvin Agustin who said in his post, “…Lalo na ang friendship at kabutihan mo. Im sure mas nageenjoy ka dyan sa langit! Love you bro! #RY Bro, mga pangarap natin etong tinutupad namin.”
