Indie film actor Kristofer King, who died last February 23, has this life onscreen and behind the camera.

He is Christopher Reyes in real life and he has been suffering from Diabetes for several years before he died.

After being known to be one of the fearless actors in indie films, Kristofer found the opportunity to appear in various TV shows, such as Ang Probinsyano.

However, sad to say, the last aired TV appearance he had for GMA’s Tadhana, also marked the day of his death.

As he finally bid goodbye to the people he loved, his life in front and behind the camera was recalled.

Based on PEP’s article, Kristofer King was indeed fearless in doing his daring scenes in movies.

He did scenes that not most of the actors would dare to do.

His traits of being “raw, powerful, gritty and intense” were his edge in acting, according to the description of prominent indie film director Brillante Mendoza.

He remained humble beyond the recognition he received for his acting stints.

The late Direk Mario O’Hara, stated that he was proud of his actors in Ang Babae sa Breakwater, Katherine Luna and Kristofer King, based on the article.

Another report from the same showbiz site stated that in the life story of Kristofer which was featured in GMA’s Magpakailanman with the title,
“Bayarang Adonis: The Kristofer King Story”, he bravely admitted that he was a “macho dancer and high–end male prostitute”.

He did this for his desire to provide financially for his son Bukne who has Hunter’s Syndrome, a serious genetic disorder.
