Camp of Piolo Pascual didn’t allow his photo with Cuban guy to be released on air
Management of Piolo Pascual, reportedly, hindered the defunct showbiz talk show Startalk to release his photo with a Cuban guy.
Previously, the name of the Kapamilya A-list actor was linked to other guys, such as singer Mark Bautista whi revealed his real gender preference in a book.
Showbiz enthusiasts are also familiar regarding the gay rumors about Piolo.
Recently, photos of him with an American model surfaced online and netizens perceived that it was his alleged boyfriend.
Amid these gay rumors, Piolo’s son, Inigo, said to his father to keep his cool, despite the fact that they also affected by the baseless talks.
In line with the rumors, entertainment columnist Ronnie Carrasco of Bandera shared a story which happened back in 1995.
According to the columnist, he went back to the time when managers of Piolo’s career hindered Startalk to release his photo with a Cuban guy.
Carrasco also said that the show’s plug showed the said photo.
“Nowhere in the accompanying script was there any slight insinuation na may kung anong namamagitan between Piolo and the Cuban, ” the Bandera columnist wrote.
As far as Carrasco remembered, Startalk was “under duress”. This came from the management handling the Kapamilya actor, based on the article.
He added that the camp of Piolo Pascual made “pagbabanta” that once the GMA’s defunct talk show will release the photo, it will lead to “legal implications to Startalk’s disadvantage”.
And so that segment showing the A-list actor’s photo with a Cuban guy was not aired, based on the article.
