Tropical Depression Usman Made Landfall Over Eastern Samar

PAGASA announces that Tropical Depression Usman makes landfall over Eastern Samar and suddenly weakened into a low-pressure area.

On Saturday (December 29, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather update about Tropical Depression Usman.

Tropical Depression Usman finally made landfall over Eastern Samar’s Borongan City bringing inclement weather condition.

Low-Pressure Area

Usman weakened into a low-pressure area, which was last spotted in the vicinity of Llorente, Eastern Samar.

The weather agency has also lifter all the tropical cyclone warning signals in the country after Usman weakened.

Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Bicol Regions, as well as over Aurora province would experience moderate to heavy rain.

The Metro Manila, and over the rest of Central Luzon and the Visayas would have light to moderate with occasionally heavy rain.

The weather bureau also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides.

Meanwhile, PAGASA warned the fisherfolks that sea ventures remain risky due to the inclement weather.
