Latest Weather Updates in PH Released By PAGASA (November 23)

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates over some parts of the country.

On Friday (November 23, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the country would be affected by the northeast monsoon.

PAGASA reported that Tropical Depression Samuel was last spotted 795 kilometers west of southern Luzon outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Samuel has maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 80 kph moving 20 kph at westward direction.

Typhoon Man-yi is located 1,400 kilometers east of southern Luzon packing maximum sustained winds of 145 kph and gustiness of 180 kph.

Cloudy weather conditions with light rains were expected over Cagayan Valley Region and the provinces of Ilocos Norte and Apayao due to the northeast monsoon.

The northeast monsoon would also bring cloudy conditions with isolated rains over the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region and of Ilocos Region.

Meanwhile, the localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to stay alert for possible flashfloods and landslides.

The northern Luzon would have rough coastal water condition while the rest of the country would have moderate to rough waters.
