INFLATION RATE – The Kapuso comedians Super Tekla & Boobay talked about the inflation rate of the country in a funny way.
According to Investors.com, “is a general rise in the price of goods and services that erodes the value, or purchasing power, of the dollars in your wallet and bank account.”
Moreover, it is the percentage on the increase in prices over 12 months.
And as of August, the inflation of the country already reached 6.4%, the highest in ASEAN and in more than nine years in the Philippines.
The surge of inflation is way too beyond of what was targetted by the Department of Finance and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) which is 5.9% and economists’ median estimate was at 6%.
Inflation, as driven either by supply or demand, has deeply affected the consumers. They tend to pay more for the same goods and services.
And now, comedians Boobay and Super Tekla talked about this current issue of the country.
