As seen in the previous report, the international boxing Hall of Famer recently experienced the crystal clear waters and the dramatic limestone cliffs in his recreation trip in El Nido.
However, the boxing superstar’s exploration of the Philippines doesn’t just end with the Palawan trip. After basking in the island’s glorious sunset, Mayweather was spotted getting a glimpse of the Manila’s mall culture last May 10.
Coincidentally, Dra. Vicki Belo was in the same shopping mall as Mayweather and was fortunate enough to take a rare selfie with the American boxer.
In an Instagram post, Dra. Belo shared her elation to be the only one to have a photo opportunity with the boxing icon as she narrated her ‘blow-by-blow’ experience.
According to Belo, Mayweather was already inside his SUV and was ready to leave while she was desperately gesturing for him to take a photo amidst the crowd.
She then further revealed that people waiting outside a luxury boutique said that the undefeated boxer repeatedly refused to take snapshots with anyone but this did not discourage to try her luck.
“I stood in front of a black tinted window and signed language if I could take a picture,” she narrated
“To my surprise, he rolled down the window and I took a picture of him. He then said, come here and take a picture with me. Hence, the second picture,” Belo further claimed.
In another Instagram post, Belo shared a fleeting video clip of her alongside with other boxing fans who, like her, also went with high hopes of getting a selfie with Mayweather.
Belo said since the others weren’t able to take a photo with the boxer, they asked to take a photo with her instead.
