Kris Aquino is back!
KRIS AQUINO – The “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino is finally back as she signed a contract under the Star Cinema along with the announcement of her first project with this love team.
Nearly after two years of leaving the Kapamilya network, Kris Aquino is back and steps foot once again in the ABS-CBN compound to sign a contract under the Star Cinema.
Star Cinema is the film production arm of the Kapamilya network.
She is definitely really back to work with the media giant.
According to a report from the ABS-CBN, Kris is set to work with the JoshLia love team, Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, for a film.
“It feels good. Tinanong nila ako if I was ready. Yes. Ang tanong ko, are they ready? It feels good. It’s been two years,” Aquino told ABS-CBN News.
Her last projects with the Star Cinema were the films “Etiquette for Mistresses” and “All You Need Is Pag-ibig” which were both released in 2015.
Based on a previous article, she admitted that it was her fault why her contract with the ABS-CBN network was not renewed.
“With ABS-CBN, I think it was my fault because when the contract was there, I should have signed it. It was a two-year deal guarantee and I didn’t sign it then. I didn’t sign at that point because that whole threat was real,” Kris said.
The actress was referring to the threats that she had accordingly received from the Abu Sayyaf to her and to her son Bimby.
This is as well the reason why she left her show “KrisTV” for this show has required her to be always out of town which accordingly would be really dangerous for her.
