Philippine Airlines Offers P1 Fare To Marawi City
The flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) offers P1 fare to help displaced residents to back to Marawi City for only 1 day.
Marawi City has been totally devastated because of the extended gun battle between the government forces and the Maute Terror Group, which also displaced thousands of its residents.
On Saturday (October 28, 2017), PAL has offered a P1 fare each for only first 1, 000 passenger to help the Marawi resident to go back home. The flight will be in three routes to Cagayan de Oro, which has the closest airport to the beleaguered city.
The airline’s promo was dubbed as “Rebuild Marawi Fares” and will be available from Manila to Cagayan, Cebu to Cagayan, and Davao to Cagayan until Dec. 14, 2017, only.
The tickets for P1 fare may be booked on the official website of PAL on Saturday.
On October 29 to November 10, 2017, low-priced fares were still available at PAL’s website and ticketing office. Here is the price of low-priced fares with travel dates from Oct. 29 to Dec. 14, 2017:
- Manila to Cagayan P988
- Cebu to Cagayan – P788
- Davao to Cagayan – P688
PAL also offered free transportation of Cagayan de Oro critical supplies and relief goods for the Marawi evacuees.
