Alisah Bonaobra Impressed X Factor UK Judges, After Joining “Tawag ng Tanghalan”
The former “Tawag ng Tanghalan” contestant Alisah Bonaobra has impressed the judges of X Factor UK during the audition round.
Alisah Nina Luz Salacot Bonaobra is a Filipina singer who joined several singing contests such as “The Voice Philippines” where she placed as a runner-up. She also joined the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” segment of “It’s Showtime”.
The singer rose to fame in 2014 after uploading her video singing “Let It Go” in a karaoke machine in Robinson’s Place Manila before auditioning for the second season of “The Voice of the Philippines”
Recently, the 22-year-old singer amazed the four judges of X-Factor UK during the audition round by singing her own rendition of Beyonce’s “Listen”. All judges from the singing contest gave their yes for Bonaobra.
Simon, one of the judges praised Alisah for her good performance although she already heard better versions. While Nicole Scherzinger becomes emotional while watching the performance of the Pinay singer as she reflects her humble beginnings.
