Marco Gumabao was asked about his ex-girlfriend, Cristine Reyes
Actor Marco Gumabao had this reaction when asked about the engagement of actress Cristine Reyes to former National Youth Commission chair Gio Tingson.
Marco and Cristine’s relationship was quite colorful. They got together after working on a movie project. Following the circulation of their sweet photos on social media, they confirmed their relationship.
However, in April last year, it was confirmed that they had broken up. A few months later, Cristine confirmed her relationship with Gio.

Last month, Cristine Reyes announced through her social media post that she and Gio Tingson are now engaged. In an interview, she narrated how her now-fiancé proposed to her.
Based on that article in The Philippine Star, Marco Gumabao was asked about Cristine and Gio’s engagement. The actor said that he is happy for his ex-girlfriend.
“I’m super happy. You know what? I’ve known Cristine ever since ‘Tubig at Langis’ days. Kumbaga may pinagsamahan kami even before the relationship. We started off as friends. We ended the relationship as friends,” Marcos said.
The actor also said that he wanted to congratulate Cristine, and he is sure that Gio will take care of her.
Then, Marco shared that her sister, Michele Gumabao, has known Gio for many years now.
“Actually, Gio is a friend of my sister from high school. I’ve met Gio before. He’s a great guy. So, I’m sure that Cristine is in good hands. And I’m happy for them,” the actor expressed.

He also said that Cristine deserves to be loved, but unfortunately, their relationship ended, and that was how it was, and they had to move on. However, the actor stressed that they don’t hold grudges.
“We pray for the other person as much as possible. And no bitterness. Yun lang naman ang buhay,” Marco Gumabao said.
As of now, the actor is happy in his single era. He is focused on his personal growth, health, and other things in his life. Being single right now, Marco has more time for himself. He said that he thinks that it is time for him to take a backseat from dating and focus on his career.
