43-Year-Old Filipino Engineer Wins 1-M Dirhams On Raffle Promo In UAE
A lucky Filipino engineer named Al Dizon Bansil has won 1 million dirhams or a roughly P13.9 million on a raffle promo in Dubai, UAE.
Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) were enduring a tough and a difficult life or working abroad just to provide the financial needs of their families. Despite hardships and loneliness, they are willing to sacrifice their own happiness just to give their family a better life.
Recently, the Facebook page “The Filipino times” has uploaded the video of a lucky Pinoy engineer in UAE who hits the grand prize of 1 million dirhams or P1 million in a yearly raffle promo.
On Wednesday (August 23, 2017), Al Dizon Bansil, a 43-year-old Pinoy engineer in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) bags the grand prize of 1 million dirhams on the annual ‘Al Ansari Rewards – Summer Promotion 2017).
Bansil is a resident of Sharjah who was working as a quantity surveyor for a construction firm can’t contain his joy upon receiving the good news. The OFW was at work when he received a call telling him that he pre-qualified for the grand draw.
“I was at work when I received the call that I was pre-qualified for the grand draw. Then when the grand draw was being held earlier, I was really nervous. I prayed to win… and I did,” said by Bansil quoted by Gulfnews.

The lucky man was already working in the UAE for already 11 years and he wanted to immediately return to the Philippines after winning the jackpot prize of nearly P14 million and celebrate the special occasion with his family in Pampanga.
Another Filipino named Sylvia Lizardo Valder also won a brand new Nissan Patrol at the gala ceremony in Dubai and eight others go home with 10, 000 dirhams each.
