Comedian host Vice Ganda finally speak up about the case involving Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) first-ever grand winner Noven Belleza.
According to the 41-year-old, It’s Showtime host, he was shocked when Belleza was arrested after their concert.
Noven Belleza was nabbed after Vice Ganda’s Pusuan Mo Si Vice Ganda Sa Cebu, in IEC Pavillion, Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City, last July 15.
He was accused of maliciously harassing a 19-year-old lady, who’s identified as his fellow contestant in the “It’s Showtime” segment.
Vice Ganda admitted that he kept mum about the issue due to its sensitivity.
“Unang-una, that is a very sensitive issue. Na, I cannot really comment about something na I’m not fully aware of,” he said in an interview with PEP.ph.
“Di ba nga, pag dumadaldal ako at pag nagkamali ako… kaya hindi na ako nagsasalita,” he added.
But Vice Ganda admitted that he was shocked when authorities arrest Noven.
“Of course, I was shocked. Na-shock ako dun kasi nangyari dun sa concert ko,” he said.
On the other hand, he’s thankful to the authorities for allowing him and Belleza finish the concert before the latter was apprehended.
When asked if he had talked with Noven Belleza, he said: “Hindi na, e, kasi dire-diretso ang trabaho ko, at saka siya rin, e, may mga trabaho.”
Meanwhile, Tawag ng Tanghalan judges Karla Estrada, Ogie Alcasid and It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro also reacted on Noven’s case.
