Actor-host Vhong Navarro has reacted on the controversy involving Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) first-ever grand champion, Noven Belleza.
Last July 15, Noven Belleza was nabbed in Cebu City after being accused of maliciously harassing a 19-year-old lady, who’s identified as his fellow contestant in the “It’s Showtime” segment.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Vhong Navarro relates the case of Noven with his controversy.
It can be recalled that it was in 2014 when he was accused by model Deniece Cornejo of harassment which reportedly happened in a condominium unit at The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
According to him, “Hindi rin ako… di ko ano, e. Ang hirap kasi e sa sitwasyon na yun dahil alam ko naman may pinagdadaanan din akong parang halos sa ganong sitwasyon na hindi totoo.”
Vhong Navarro is hoping that the young singer would overcome it and the truth will prevail.
“So sana lang, e, kung ano man yung pinagdaanan ni Noven, sana maayos at kung ano yung tama, magawan nila ng paraan,” he said.
Meanwhile, Tawag ng Tanghalan judges Karla Estrada and Ogie Diaz also reacted on Noven’s case.
“Mahirap tanggapin iyon, ‘no, pero tingnan muna natin, pakinggan natin kung ano yung totoong pangyayari bago tayo mag-ano,” Karla Estrada said.
“Well, full support kami kay Noven… well, I can speak for myself. I will pray for him na, you know, maayos niya ‘to at hindi siya … Hindi ko alam ang buong istorya nito, and siyempre kailangan nating malaman yung buong istorya,” Ogie Alcasid on the other hand noted.
