Jessie Vargas: Conor McGregor Was Allegedly Knocked Out In Sparring
Pacman’s former foe Jessie Vargas has confirmed that MMA fighter Conor McGregor was allegedly knocked out in a sparring session.
Conor Anthony McGregor is an Irish professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter who is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is also a former UFC Featherweight Champion and now reigning as UFC Lightweight Champion.
McGregor was also set to fight the 40-year-old undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. The two great fighters will face each other at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26, 2017. Their fight is expected to be a mega fight.
Recently, the former foe of Manny Pacquiao, Jessie Vargas confirmed that McGregor was reportedly knocked out while sparring during fight camp. He was allegedly knocked out by Bradley Wheeler during a sparring session.
“He got knocked out in sparring already, man! I heard that they tried Bradley Wheeler but he knocked him out,” said by Vargas quoted by Unilad.
Vargas was also looking towards the knockout of Mayweather against Mc Gregor on the sixth or seventh round of their match. He also said that he had no doubt that Mayweather will win the match and he actually bet on it.
The 28-year-old McGregor was reportedly focusing on his offensive strategies against the undefeated boxing champion. Conor’s coach was also building a special ring to prepare the MMA fighter in facing Mayweather.
