Soldiers’ heart-breaking farewell to family.
FAREWELL – Tears from family of Ilonggo soldiers sent to fight in Marawi rained during the sending off ceremony of the 82nd Infantry Batallion.
Recorded scenes and photos took the online platform as it broke a lot of hearts many people.
Upon watching the tearful bids of farewell and the agony of loss in the cries of the family of these Ilonggo soldiers, surely, you can stop the tears from falling but not the lump in the throat due uncontained emotion.
Soldiers are trained hard for years to fight for peace and security of not just the people, but of the country as well.

To save the Marawi from the extremists, the Philippine military troops are in full force but inevitable as it may seem, the saving did not just cost a single life of a military heroes, numerous heroes’ sacrificed life has been listed.
Up until now, the firefight in Marawi seems to be unending and these Ilonggo soldiers were sent to Marawi in aim to end the war.
During the sending off ceremony, unstoppable tears are in the faces of families left.
Short videos was even uploaded and shared by Rena Serion Manubag on Facebook.
The caption of the post says, ” ‘Sinumpaan namin na ipaglaban ang bayan, at protektahan ang Sambayanang Pilipino. Dalawang bagay lang ang mangyayari, makakauwi ng patay o makakauwi ng buhay dala ang tagumpay’ – mga salitang binitiwan ng mga sundalo bago makipagbakbakan sa giyera sa Marawi.”
Mothers, wives, children are in great despair as they bid farewell to their brother, husband or son for they will never know what could possibly their fate be in Marawi. Would it be ill or well?
