The Filipina singer and actress Rachelle Ann Go wins at 2017 Theater Fan’s Choice Award for her exceptional Miss Saigon performance.
Rachelle Ann Villalobos Go is a Filipino singer and actress who earned her popularity after being declared as the Grand Champion of the reality talent search entitled “Search for a Star in 2004,” on which was followed by numerous projects.
The 30-year-old singer has won numerous singing contests since at the age of eleven. Go has been known for her beautiful singing voice, which brought her to the door of showbiz industry. She was also able to perform in numerous musical events and concerts.
On Friday (June 09, 2017), Miss Saigon has expressed her gratitude and thanksgiving for her fans and supporters after winning the “Best Featured Actress in a Musical” at the 2017 Theater Fans’ Choice Awards for her performance as Gigi Van Tranh.
“Hi guys!!! Just want to say THANK YOU for all the support! You guys are the best! Love you all,” wrote by Go on her Facebook page.
Go also won the Best Revival of a Musical and Broadway’s Backbone Best Musical Ensemble.
The Filipina singer has been known for her exceptional performance as Fantine in the musical show entitled “Les Miserables.” Go will next appear on stage as Elizabeth Schuyler in “Hamilton: An American Musical.”
