The photo was uploaded by a certain Blesie Barbosa Beralde in her account in Facebook. And yet, it was reported in Definitely Filipino Balita.
Truly, working abroad and in place not so familiar to you under a stranger is quite hard. Not just because you are away from your family but also because somehow, you are treated different by your employer because first, you work for them and second you are of different nationality.
And the Overseas Filipino Workers has different story to tell and different experience to share that surely has a lesson for everyone.
Just like the OFW featured because of the viral photo, it seems her fate did not went well with her employer .
On the photo, it can be seen that a worker is with her employer. What is just heart-touching on the normal scene is that her employer was eating while she is just there watching her employer taking a grab of the food.
According to the post of Blesie, she was about to buy her breakfast in a fast-food chain when she saw the unfortunate scene.
She was about to give food to the OFW but she hesitated as the employer who is just beside her might get enrage.
Thus, the photo earned several reactions from the people of the social media community.
One netizen even said, “Ganyan ang buhay ng OFW pag di ka swerte sa mo kagaya ko. The only thing I can do is to buy my own food and everything I need, no choice, I need job for my daughter’s living and education.”
