The former president of UP Socius wrote an open letter to all ‘fake feminists’ regarding Mocha Uson’s appointment.
OPEN LETTER – Former president of the University of the Philippines Socius wrote a letter to all millennials and netizens who have criticized the appointment of Mocha Uson as PCOO’s assistant secretary.
Truly, the appointment of the dancer turned blogger and now the appointed assistant secretary became a big interest to the public along with their criticisms.
The issue even made the Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to release a statement about it. Based on the previous report, the president said, “Iyang pagsasayaw niya hanapbuhay yan eh. That’s hanapbuhay. There’s no law that says if you expose your body you are disqualified from being president of the Philippines… Every Filipino deserves a chance.”
And now, the former president has laid her opinion about the controversy. Michelle Callanta Toledo, the former president of he UP Socius wrote an open letter.
Her open letter was posted on her Facebook account. Based on her writing she believes and supports the capabilities of Uson as the assistant secretary.
She even added that people don’t have to like her. They don’t have to ‘demean her livelihood and belittle her’ because as mentioned on her letter, the lady just wanted to make a difference.
At the latter part, she indicated, ” I will trust her heart to  do that.”
