Trillanes Apologizes To Cayetano – Senator Antonio Trillanes IV sent an apology letter to Senator Alan Peter Cayetano for the “uncalled for” demeanor he showed during the Senate hearing on the alleged extrajudicial kil1ings in the Philippines.
In the apology letter the that Trillanes handed to Cayetano, it said that he is expressing his apologies for his demeanor during last Thursday’s hearing.
“This is to express my apologies for my demeanor during last Thursday’s hearing of the Committee on Justice and Human Rights.”

According to Trillanes, what happened was brought by the intense passion and emotion of the moment.

“It was brought about because of the intense passion and emotion of the moment. Nonetheless, it was uncalled for,” Trillanes said.
The senator also stated that the incident won’t happen again.
According to a report by GMA News, copies of the said letter by Trillanes were also handed to the offices of Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III and to Senator Leila De Lima. De Lima is the chairperson of the Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights.
