Bishop Mallari and the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) expressed support on student relationships.
BISHOP MALLARI – A school in Cagayan de Oro has recently established a policy on prohibiting romantic relationships among the learners and Bishop Robert Mallari expressed his opposition to the rule.
Previous news report contend that Golden Heritage Polytechnic College in Cagayan de Oro has a policy that prohibits the students from engaging in love affairs. It even posted a huge tarpaulin that reminds the learners of the said school rule.
Contrary to the report is a recent news report in Inquirer that stated a bishop and the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines’ opposition on the policy.
Based on the report, the Bishop affirmed his opposition in the said rule as there is a program in the formation of youth and relationships play a part on it, “We have a regular formation program regarding values formation and responsible relationships.”
