Poe: New Tactics On Taking The Lead Back

Sen. Grace Poe’s camp is ready for a new challenge posted by a survey.

Presidential candidate Sen. Grace Poe’s spokesperson affirmed the setting of new strategies to take the lead back after Social Weather Station (SWS) survey revealed Davao Mayor Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte as the new frontrunner in the presidential race.

Even though she was entirely out the whole time campaigning in Oriental Mindoro and Laguna provinces, Sen. Grace Poe didn’t react on the result of the survey showing her to be just the 2nd runner.

Reporters insisted for comments from Poe’s camp which was relieved by the message given by her spokesperson, Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian.

According to Mayor Gatchalian in a text message, the recent results of the survey conducted by SWS will continue to guide their campaign on the next moves that they will be taking. Further, he added that the information that the survey provides will serve as compass for their group in charting their next course.

Moreover, he continued to affirmed the Filipinos that as the election period approaches its climax, Sen. Grace Poe will continue to fight for our countrymen who are experiencing the least of the least.

Promoting the camp’s line, Gobyernong may Puso, Gatchalian expressed the pursuit of the group to provide answers to the problems that existed for decades already – the poverty of the nation and the unemployment status of its people which continues to pull it down.

In the SWS survey conducted last 30th of March up to the 2nd of April, it was Mayor Duterte’s first time to get ahead of Sen. Poe who was the frontrunner for several surveys already.

With 27 and 23 percent respectively, the Davao Mayor took the lead in the presidential race from the senator. Sen. Poe was followed by Sen. Binay garnering 20%, 18% goes for Sen. Roxas, and 3% for Sen. Santiago.
