The Philippines won a back-to-back crown in one of the world’s most popular beauty pageant, the Miss Earth 2015, the country’s homegrown international beauty pageant, as this year’s bet Miss Angelia Ong was crowned as the winner and followed the footsteps of the 2014 title-holder Jamie Herrell from Cebu City.

The Miss Earth 2015 beauty pageant’s coronation night was held on Saturday night in Vienna, Austria. Cebu City beauty queen and former Miss Earth winner, Jamie Herrell crowned the Filipino beauty queen, Miss Angelia Ong at the end of the ceremony.
Miss Angelia Ong, the Miss Philippines Earth 2015 winner bested 85 other ladies for the crown. One of the most interesting portion of the coronation night was during the question and answer portion of the pageant.
The Philippines’ bet Miss Angelia Ong was asked to come up with a slogan for the next 15 years of Miss Earth. Angelia replied with the following statement: “I want to let everybody know that all things are possible and all things are feasible if we work together. We will, because we can,” she explained.
