Jed Madela Defends ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’ Juries Being ‘Inconsistent’

Amid the success of the singing-impersonation weekend show “Your Face Sounds Familiar”, still critics give their tastes and concerns about how the show is being ran.jed

Supposed “inconsistency” of the jury also came out to which jury member Jed Madela defended.

“People always complain na, bakit kayo puro good comments tapos bigla na lang ang baba ng ibibigay na score. It’s not because mababa ‘yung score, it’s not because na pangit ang performance ng artist. It just so happened na merong mas magaling sa kanila,” he explained.

According to the singer, there are people that are not impressed with the way the jury give their comments, that they only give “positive” or even “safe” feedbacks on the show.

According to Jed, certain fans called his attention recently over a certain problem.

“A few days ago may nabasa ako na medyo inconsistent daw ako which led me to think na ‘Bakit ako ‘yung inconsistent?’ Kasi you know whatever points I give ‘yun ‘yung mga nananalo and then sila ‘yung magagaling din and same with Ms. Sharon [Cuneta] and Gary [Valenciano]. So I don’t know where that issue came out,” he asked.

Jed, however, commented that the people who consider him inconsistent are, “Siguro ‘yung mga mg gumagawa lang ng kwento para lang paguusapan, na you know very baseless.”

Citing an example, Jed mentioned Maxene Magalona who often lands on the last spot every scoring night.

“Hindi naman lahat ng performances ni Maxene pangit or medyo alanganin. She had good performances, it just so happened na may mas magagaling na ibang performances.”, he said.

Magalona’s win for impersonating her late father Francis M. drew critics to which the judges also defended.
