Senator Jinggoy Estrada blasted the witnesses including Dennis Lacson-Cunanan and Ruby Tuason who claimed that the senator has participated on the pressing pork barrel scam.
The respected Senator has profiled Dennis Cunanan or Deco for his close friend during his privilege speech. Cunanan, a native of Angeles, Pampanga, is a former speaker at the House of Representative.
On the other hand, the Senator also profiled Ruby Tuason who recently hit the headlines after breaking her silence on Jinggoy Estrada’s participation on pork barrel scam.
The senate hearing headed by Senate President Franklin Drilon started with the recognition of invited guests including students from various institutions and the acknowledgement of Filipino-American Jessica Cox.
At least 21 senators were present during the senate hearing and privilege speech of Senator Jinggoy Estrada. The respected lawmaker issues his statement and denied alleged participation on pork barrel scam.
Jinggoy Estrada strongly refute his involvement with the controversy which dragged his name last year. The former action star was accused for receiving kickbacks of P224.51 from the pork barrel funds.
The Senator is currently facing a plunder complaint together Senator Bong Revilla and Senator Juan Ponce Enrile for allegedly diverting the Priority Development (–foul word(s) removed–)istance Fund (PDAF) for the fake NGO’s of controversial businesswoman Janet Lim-Napoles.
