One of these celebrities is Julia Barretto. The father and mother of the young Kapamilya actress are known in both fields – the showbiz industry and politics.
Julia Barretto‘s parents are Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Barretto. It was in 1997 when the two (2) celebrities officially tied the knot. Then, the actress already has a daughter from her previous relationship while the actor-comedian was married but it was null and void.
Throughout their marriage, Dennis and Marjorie both became part of showbiz and politics. Aside from Julia Barretto, they were blessed with two (2) more children – Claudia and Leon. The actor-comedian also has a wonderful relationship with Dani, the first born of his then-wife.
However, in 2007, Julia Barretto‘s parents separated. The young actress and her siblings stayed with their mother. The separation was surrounded by issues including infidelity in the part of Marjorie Barretto. Then, she cleared out that she was not having a relationship with former Mayor Recom Echiverri.
Dennis Padilla now has his own family. He met an Australian-Filipina named Linda Gorton and they’re together for several years now. Their relationship is blessed with a son they named Gavin and a daughter they named Maddie.
Despite all the issues before, Dennis was able to patch things up with his children with Marjorie. They have wonderful relationships and he has always been vocal about his love for his children.
