Born as Julia Francesca Barretto Baldivia, the actress was born on March 10, 1997. Julia Barretto’s parents are both known personalities in the showbiz industry – comedian Dennis Padilla and former actress-politician Marjorie Barretto. She spent her grade school years at Miriam College in Loyola Heights Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City and took her secondary education at St. Paul College in Pasig.
Julia’s parents separated. She lived with her mother after the separation together with her other siblings. Marjorie and Dennis have two (2) other children, Claudia and Leon, and the actress has two (2) other daughters – Dani and Erich.
Julia Barretto Showbiz Career
One of the first projects that Julia did was Kokey, a project of the ABS-CBN Network where she played as Anna Calugdan. She was also part of Mirabella in 2014.
Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia‘s loveteam hooked a lot of people. The on-screen partners turned into real-life lovers but their romantic relationship lasted only for two (2) years.
Collectively called as JoshLia, the two (2) celebrities did a lot of hit projects including the movies Vince and Kath and James, Love You To The Stars and Back, Block Z, and I Love You, Hater. They also top-billed a hit TV series under the Kapamilya network – Ngayon at Kailanman.
