Ogie Diaz Reacts To Alleged 40% Commission from Liza Soberano

Ogie Diaz clarified this issue about his former talent

Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz reacted to the alleged 40 percent commission he got from projects that actress Liza Soberano did.

Liza’s revelations about her past management and projects that she did with ABS-CBN shocked a lot of many showbiz fans. She said that she was boxed and was not given the chance to choose what she wants to do with her career.

After she opened up, different reactions from netizens and showbiz fans were expressed. She was bashed for allegedly being ungrateful but she stressed in an interview after releasing her This Is Me vlog that she is grateful for everything.

On the other hand, fans of the actress rallied behind her and showed support for her upcoming endeavors, just like what Twitter user @kaibengzon, who used the name Taffy, shared in a tweet. The said fan accused Ogie Diaz of getting a 40 percent commission from Liza Soberano’s projects.

According to the netizen’s claim, ABS-CBN’s commission was not yet included in the said 40 percent. The fan also claimed that a brand backed out from getting Liza as the endorser because allegedly Ogie asked for a higher talent fee even though the offer was already okay for the actress.

Fan page @ChakapusoPH shared a screenshot of the said tweet and defended Ogie saying that the talent manager never did that to Liza. The talent manager-vlogger retweeted this with his answer to the alleged 40 percent commission.

“Hamo, taffy. Pag ako manager mo, 40% ka, tulad ng claim mo, Tapos yung alam kong magiging star, 20% lang,” Ogie stressed.
